Day 180 Oct 06 Sat - Thorns Camp in Kistelek to Dog Barking Camp 40km to Budapest

With a group of leisure cyclists in Kiskunfelegyhaza ( try pronounce it)
Tesco hypermarket , quite popular here
Horse carts with tourists and a police car escort at the back
Discovered that a camping ground just about 200m away the next morning

Budapest , not yet .. has to wait for another day! The earlier plan was overruled as I didn't want to reach a big city late at 6 or 7 pm to hunt for accommodation . I had experience the hardship of that. I rather prefer in the morning or noon.So I had to slow down as not to camp early.Started at 8.30 am on a very cold misty morning,not many cars or people yet on this outskirt Rd 5,the road was still wet from yesterday's dizzying rain, straight flat and even road surface,the missing one was a road shoulder.Saw 2 horse carts with tourists sitting and a police car escorting from the back . No great scenery here,maybe the joy was on the horse cart ride. Highlight for today, I was flagged down by 3 prostitutes sitting at the opposite side of the road when I thought were ordinary Hungarian SYTs , but their heavily make-up faces and the intercourse hand sign they made,confirmed my thought. No thanks even for free !!! Did not spend a single cent today as yesterday already spent much,things here are rather expensive,even a 1.5 litre of mineral water cost 200 Ft , so most of the time I filled up tap water from the petrol stations. Campsite no more thorns but a barking dog , a real nuisance kept barking from a house compound about 50 m away.
