From a best 1274m highland campsite down to a 350m lowland campsite where mosquitoes and sand flies were plenty. Started at 10.05am ,the climb continues and reaches max of 1460m at Petrohan, then it was down hill all the way to Montana. Got my first free Bulgarian meal at a cafe restaurant from Mr Emo who operates a scuba diving website : divepro-bg.com . The dives mostly at the Black Sea region. At Montana, I didn't follow Rd 81 to Lom ,instead i follow Rd E-79 direct to Vidin, where a ferry boat will brings me across to Romania over the Dunav river ,a natural boundary between Romania & Bulgaria.Tomorrow should be in Vidin early which is about 50 km away. Quite a tiring ride today under very hot sun ,worst after 2 pm where the heat direct on my left face and i can felt the pain when sweat came into contact with it.
