A very long flat sunny ride today on a narrow bad road with hardly any shoulder at all. On few occasions I was forced to go down to the side with stone and sand by the big giant trucks.Started exceptionally early at 8am on a very cold morning 9c .My plan was to turn left to a scenic mountain road to Resita,but somehow I missed that junction and ended up on this busy road to Timisoara , a very big city with very expensive hotels. I was told by the tourist information center that there is a hostel in town ,but was damn disappointed only to discover that it was closed for renovation,left with no choice but to cycle back to the Timisoara Int'l camping ground that I saw 5 km on the way to the city. The fee is 27 lei ( 7 for the bike) , more expansive than when I was camping in France and Germany.
