Another day of good ride even though I missed a junction in Bar-Le-Duc to a scenic trunk road of D1 and D955 to Sermaize. Because of that I ended up in a more busy dual carriageway of N4. Luckily there was a not-so-good shoulder, rough and some stretch even with overgrown grass. Started at rather early today at 7.50 am, always good to be early so that you have more riding hours to avoid setting up tent in the dark. Cloudy weather but with warmer temp of 10- 15°c. From St-Dizier to Vitry-Le-Francois, very straight flat with under 100 m in elevation, followed by a series of rolling hills with wide grass land to Coole. My intention of doing 100 km was spoiled by a deserted cafe & restaurant called - Les 4 Pentes where I camped at the back with cemented floor and a rain water in plastic tank at my disposal.

Hi Meng,
It's not hard to smile when alone. It's the thought that the journey is ending, right. Never mind lah, try your best. Just think that the photo will be use for publisity.
