Today probably having the best ride so far in France, cruising ups and downs the Parc de Lorraine beautiful country roads away from the busy traffic. Vast farm land of potatoes and natural virgin forest,passing little towns where hardly anybody, the houses or shops doors and windows were often closed. The ride started at 9 am on Rd 120 , cut across the motorway A31 between Nancy & Metz to Pont A Mousson where I did my usual shopping, then followed Rd 958 to Flirey,Rd 907 to a very old town of St-Mihiel and Rd 901 to Rumont where I saw many wind turbines. Decided to camp early at 5 pm , 10 km to a bigger town of Bar- Le - Duc
