Yesterday 's thought of covering a longer distance today over flat terrain, was a wrong projection!Started riding at 9 am, soon the climb from 130m to 400m in Saverne and then several hills of ups and downs in the Parc de Lorraine. Again accidentally pumped into the A4 Motorway in Phalsbourg and lost some times in finding a smaller road to Sarrebourg, guessed all these were common challenges faced by every touring cyclists. The first map I bought was not a good map ( 1 : 1 million or 1 cm = 10 km ) ,many of the small village towns were not shown on the map. Not much of good scenary here except the weather continued to be fine, sunny blue sky,you wouldn't believe that at one stage, the setting sun was directing me to Heming where I camped in between the motorway A4 and trunk road D955. Undecided yet whether to stay in Nancy or give her a miss which is about 70 km away....
