Day 128 Aug 15 Wed - Elista to Wild Camp after Divonoya

I don't understand this one, seems like crossing to another country,but we are still in Russia.

This policeman was friendly and smiling to sit on my bike even with his machine gun around
I wonder what's left for the cows,probably one tree left for them to have some shade
I really enjoy riding the beautiful road and terrain in this part of Russia

Today's ride started at 9 am and it was pretty easy to get out of Elista as there is only one main road leading to A-154. We'll be leaving Russia is Sochi which is about 700km from here b4 taking a ferry to Trabzon in Turkey across the Black Sea. The ferry service and schedule is still very uncertain,we might have to wait a few days in Sochi,so it is wise to be there early b4 our Russian visas expired on the 31st Aug. We did a 100km today under a rather hot day,lots of hard pedalling on some rolling hills as there wasn't any tailwinds like in the last few days. The sky started to get dark as we hit 100km mark at 5 pm.We found the campsite 5km from the town.Our tents were setup under strong wind and lightening .We hide inside the tents as the rain started ,we thought of getting a rain shower if it rain heavily but the drizzling rain not enough even to wet our hairs.
