Finally the time has come to say good-bye to Urumqi after having rested for 8 solid days. There is one particular street called Wuyi Lu starlight market which I like to visit esp at nite was full of people looking for foods.Highlight for today's ride to Houxia is its stunning mountain countryside scenery with fast flowing river at the bottom valley.The steady climb started right fr the Hotel until 45km and saw many honey bee farming along the roadside with big army tents and wooden cage.We stop at one of the farm and I bought one bottle weighted 800gcost 28 yuan,tested real good! From here the road becomes narrow and winding,the temp drops to 20-25c,the sky looks groomy.I was flag down by a police post refusing to let us thru'for safety reason reason,he pointed to the dark sky,rain will cause landslide & rock will fall down,but I managed to convince them with my sweet mandarin talking. The rain did not come and we were treated to one of the best scenery so far. Finally we settled in Houxia for the night.
