I survived the toughest ride of my life yesterday & today,a total of 56km,I don't call it a road,a "path" created for the very few locals who travelled in & out to town. This "path" pass thru' mountain valleys, river beds by tractors, motorbikes but never see a bicycle.Given a choice,I am sure no one will like to bike here if they know they had to go thru this. Many times I fell on loose sand or stones and it's heavy to push the bike whether ups or downs, recumbent handle stand is lower and movable with the side pannier obstructing your pushing position. The only consolation is the view and lots of pictures taken. We had a picnic lunch stop at the riverbed and we made hot coffee with instant noodles. The pushing at the riverbed continued for 2km before we finally reached a settlement where a group of Uyghur youngsters plugs some fruits for us. We hit back to the main road G309 for another 10km to Wuqia to stay for the nite.
