Todat started riding with my partner again.We were separated in Wuqia cos' she needed a longer rest.But we both made a big mistake listening to Jone who owns the John's Cafe in Kashi to take this so called "village beautiful road" of X428 instead of the main road G309. The paved road lasted only 36km when we hit a junction and the road to Wuqia is 56km of gravel.It's too far to turn back to Kashi,left with no choice but to move forward,it was really hell on my recumbent,as mostly the surface is of loose sand & rounded stone of river bed.With the sun at 40c above with no shade & heavily loaded bike,I was fast losing my energy to balance the bike.Heather's bike is not so bad with front suspension and knowbles tyres. I spotted a sheperds houseand the owner was kind to let us camp near the house.And 2 youngster came with a tractor plugs some plums for us.They were very fascinated with our bikes and staffs that we carried.
