Met with a Japanese solo cyclist Taka san who had cycled from Shanghai,Chengdu,Hotan going to Urumqi from Kashi,so we gave him some info and in return he gave his experience cycling in Turkey.Places and towns that we should visit.Cash out another 100 usd traveller cheque to rmb in Bank of China. and also did a complete shopping for foods in view of the remote and hilly stretch from Kashi to the Kyrgyzstan border. Food like: 2 kg of rice,milk powder,sugar,biscults,cans food,sausages etc...

Which is harder? Cycling everyday or updating 20 days of blogs? One is physical the other mental so maybe it's a good balance of everything.

Great to hv u on the web once again! We've been keeping abreast with yr progress thru Heather's blog during yr 'absence'.
The scenery at Tiansan-Wulasitai is awesome! Yea, unfortunately terrain not ideal for cycling. But yr recumbent is one tough cookie .. so is the cyclist! Glad you alright fm the fall, Meng.
The usual gang, altogather 10 of us did overnite ride to Frasers over the weekend ; starting fm Bentong. Great ride, great weather, great company .. would b even better if you were around, mate.
