Today is a rather sad day for me and Heather as we 'll miss Ulla's company for the rest of the journey. Ulla has decided to take a bus to Lanzhou and train to Urumqi,from there on she 'll take it easy at her own pace.Ulla at 65,maybe age is catching up with her,but her determination and spirit has always surprises me. Take good care and good rest in Urumqi,Ulla! I knew now you are safe in Urumqi.Today also a day to remember as my VDO cyclometer registered a first 1000km at Pejiang Hai

Meng, sad to see Ulla had to abort the ride. At 65, she's a very strong women. I hope she's doing well and meet up with you guys later on the journey. Bok.
