Street of Edirne
Coloured fountains at night

Selimiye mosque
Rock garden
Real goose playing at the rock garden

This statue tells the story of a craftsman making a broom with mirror on it and all the unmarried ladies will carry in their trousers . Broom with a mirror has become a symbolic of Edirne

Architect Sinan who designed most of the mosques and complexes during his time ,his statue very prominently seen

Drying camping stuffs and serviced my bike
Come try my cooking.... but regret later
This man almost finished all my foods and wanted to pay... No! I refuse but next time I must hide my cooking
Street of Edirne
Bazaar in Edirne on bar with the grand bazaar in Istanbul

Today's Temp: 15 - 19c
Today's spending: 54.2 ytl
Total Distance to date: 10654km
Total spending to date:752.66 ytl

Today's weather turned out to be good unlike yesterday, bright and sunny . But I still preferred to have a full rest day rather than on the wheels.Took a morning 9.30am walk around town, Edirne situated 24km northwest to Bulgaria border and westward 13km to Greece border, is a very beautifully decorated town with many gardens, flowers, rocks, fountains, statues and the majestic mosque of Selimiye ,proudly stands on top of a hill with 4 circular pillars on each corners. Anil hotel 20 ytl per night operates like a backpacker style, with shared bathroom, toilets, kitchen and a garden with chairs & tables. Good space for me to dry my camping stuffs and serviced my bike.Tomorrow should be my last day in Turkey since August 26th . Overall,I like cycling here, peoples are friendly, warm and helpful. I felt safe most of the time during camping and not a single day of disappointment encountered. Next is Bulgaria - Another country, peoples, culture and language to experience...explore....& understand!!!!

Hello brater,

Hei, its really nice to hear compliment from our discovery channel buddy once in a while. Woo and myself and most of the TTKs are surely delighted in supporting you all the way.

The whole TTKs members are actually discussing how we'll be celebrating when you are back from your expedition later. We will be honour to be able to sit down with you and to share with you on your once in a life time achievement.

Perhaps another trip to the other side of the continents, maybe... I'm sure you will not be alone this time.

Cheers....brater...hope you will meet lots of nice peoples in Europe yah....Take care....
Regards from TTKs.

Hi Meng,

If the guy can polish off all your cooking, it simply means that you got an opportunity to open a restaurant in this city.

For Law Tzuo Hann’s site, click here http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/?o=rzyi&doc_id=2405&v=1PV
His email address is tzuohann@gmail.com

After all the hard work handling the ‘bent’, you still have very stable hands to snap good and clear pics. The pics are really wonderful and tell us a lot about the country that you visit. Tell me, is it always blue skies in Turkey?

Until the next visit, take care and save riding.

Hi Meng,

It must be real fun and enjoyable cycling or walking around town with a temp of between 15 to 20 degree Celcius, huh.

Meanwhile, its mooncake festival here today. Hope the weather will be kind enough for you to view a full moon appearing tonight at your end.

Happy mooncake festival to you, even though you are now thousand of km away from home, you are not forgotten, my friend.

Cheers....brater....

Warmest regards from all your TTKs.
